There seems to be a new free to play MMORPG released every week these days, but even with the immense growth of the genre, very few MMORPGs are Mac compatible. Considering Mac users only make up for ~5% of the market share for operating systems, it’s not surprising that most game developers opt not to develop Mac compatible versions of their MMORPGs. The only MMORPGs Mac users can usually play are browser MMORPGs, but after Googling around for a bit, I learned that some client based MMORPGs are also Mac compatible. Below is a list of all Mac compatible MMORPGs that run on OS X:

Single Player Mmo

A Unique MMORTS published by S2 Games. The game blends RPG elements as well as RTS elements. Play as either humans or beasts and defeat your enemies stronghold to win.

World of Warcraft

The epic 3D fantasy MMORPG from Blizzard. The game added support for MAC OSX with patch 1.9.3

Games may not launch if you're running software which inteferes with Steam. Even if the game is available for Mac, games may not launch if your machine is just at or below the game's system requirements. Please compare your machine's specs against the game's system requirements on the store page, and note that a machine at or near system. Steam not opening or launching Steam refuses to launch and games won't either. I've tried everything and everything is there! I try to launch it and bootstrapper tasks show up in Task Manager but nothing is actually happening no matter how long i wait. I have done that but steam still wont launch i am on a mac Version 10.6.8 Snow Leopard. Steam won't launch Mac OS X Mojave Title. The app keeps jumping up and down on my dock then quit on its own. Really bugged about not being able to play any of the games that I've paid for. Do you know of any other potential workarounds? Make sure steam is not running. Right-click on the dock on Steam and Force Quit, if the terminal.
