Mac My Games Folder
Mar 24, 2020 If your Mac starts up to a question mark A folder with a flashing question mark means that your startup disk is no longer available or doesn't contain a working Mac operating system. Press and hold the power button on your Mac for up to 10 seconds, until your Mac turns off. All my games, and Origin, are on a separate HDD. Now when I log into Origin my purchased games are visible, but it asks me to download them all again instead of using the already installed copies on the HDD. I can't download games because I live in a rural area and my internet sucks. Apparently, there is another XCOM 2 folder that, for PCs, is stored on the C: Drive and is found under Documents My Games. My documents folder does not have a My Games folder. Does anyone know what the Mac equivalent to this is?
You miss it don’t you? That little “Games Hub” first introduced in Windows Vista that some of used to bundle all of our precious games, rather than loading Steam, Origin etc. Well, it’s back! I have created a short video on how to bring the Games folder back in Windows 10 and outlined the steps below.
- On the desktop press Windows key + R keys together – this will launch “Run“
- In the run screen type, “shell:games” and press Enter
- You should now have the Games folder – easy right?
- On the taskbar, right click the games folder and click “Pin this program to taskbar“
